I want a quote on a cake, what do I do?

Because all of my cakes are custom made especially for your specific flavour and decoration I need you to provide for me the following information to create a quote:

  • The DATE of your event
  • The cake flavour/ or flavours you like best (You can have a look at flavours on my page in the Creating a Cake section – FLAVOURS
  • A particular theme or decoration idea your thinking of (And if you don’t have an idea yet Im happy to help with this!)
  • The number of serves you require
  • If the cake is to be the main dessert

If your after cupcakes, cake pops or macarons the same information applies for me to be able to provide you with a quote.



I don’t know what kind of style I want, where do I start?

I am more than happy to provide a personal consultation (either in person or over the phone) to help you make a decision for what you want for your special event.
I do suggest the internet as an amazing source of cake inspiration, Google Search or Pinterest is an excellent place to start and will provide you with endless beautiful ideas and inspiration for what I could do for you!
If you don’t know what you want to look for a simple search tailored to the event colours, theme, age (eg: ‘Wedding Cake’ or ‘Gold and White themed cake’ or ‘5th birthday pink’) will get you started.
I am happy for you to send me pictures of ideas that you have via email or Facebook messenger!

How much are the cakes, cupcakes, macarons etc… on offer?

I am happy to give out pricing on request, simply head to the contact page and fill out the contact form and I will get back to you within 24 hours!

As each cake is customised I can only quote once I have details of what you would like to order.
As a rough guide for the sweet treats:

  • Cupcakes from $30.00 per dozen (-dependent on flavour and decoration requests)
  • Cake Pops from $15.00 per dozen
  • Macarons from $12.00 per dozen

Where are you located?

I am conveniently located in two areas servicing the Barossa Valley and surrounds, including the Northern Adelaide Area and also the Balaklava, Auburn and Clare Valley Region.

I am happy to discuss the possibility of servicing other locations just flick me an email or give me a call.
Delivery Charges do apply.

Do you deliver, what’s the cost?

Yes, I am happy to deliver orders to clients or function centres Monday to Saturday.
Surcharges apply for Sunday Delivery.
Delivery is:

  • $10.00 to Barossa Valley Locations or Balaklava, Auburn areas.
  • $15.00 – $30.00 for surrounding locations – Gawler, Williamstown, Clare Valley
  • Delivery to Northern Adelaide areas, or areas outside these delivery zones is negotiated on distance.

What are your operating hours?

I am an ‘at home business’ so I do not have particular hours of operation.
My hours are simply the hours each week it takes to fill all the wonderful orders I have for my clients.

Contact Hours are 9am – 6pm weekdays and 9am – 2pm Saturday and Sunday.
If you contact me after these hours I will respond to your call or email the following day.


What is the minimum sweet treats order?

The minimum order for the different treats available to order is as follows:

  • Cupcakes           1 DOZEN
  • Macarons          2 DOZEN
  • Cake Pops          1 DOZEN

Do you have sweet stands available for event hire?

Yes, I have an assortment of cake stands available for hire.
Stand Hire is $5.00 – $50.00 depending on the stand (cupcake, macaron, cake etc..)

A $30.00 deposit is required for use and will be refunded upon satisfactory return of the stand.


How much notice do I need to give for an order?

I appreciate at least a weeks’ notice for macaron, cake pop and cupcake orders.
At least 2 – 6 weeks’ notice is preferred for specialty cakes and wedding cakes.

All orders are subject to availability dependent upon how many other orders I have at the time.
So to avoid disappointment please contact me as early as possible to secure your date and order.

(So if your trying to book in with less than a weeks’ notice best to give me a call asap)


Can you do logos and or printed pictures on your cakes?

At this stage no, however with more than 2 weeks’ notice I can cater to your needs through one of my suppliers!

What is your method of payment?

Payment can be made in cash at time of pickup/delivery, PayPal or direct deposit prior to delivery.

Some Wedding and Specialty Cakes will require a deposit be paid at time of confirmation of order.

Will I need to refrigerate my cake?

Normally No, I make my cakes, cupcakes and macaroons with non-perishable items and fillings to avoid the need to refrigerate, especially for large orders.
I suggest keeping all orders in a cool, dry place – room temperature or air conditioning is perfect.
However, if you want a particular filling (e.g.: fresh cream, chocolate mousse, fresh fruit) it will require refrigeration.

 Macarons are the exception and most will require refrigeration until serving or display.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

So long as you let me know when you place or confirm your order what dietary requirements I need to cater for I can accommodate.
I have a well-tested selection of recipes to cater for different dietary requirements including but not limited to:

  • – Gluten Free
  • – Dairy Free
  • – Egg Free
  • – Nut Free
